1. Import the song
Obtain the exact recording you intend to sync, then import it into the TTML Tool.
Before downloading or importing anything, open the target song on Spotify or Apple Music and confirm the version. Watch for:
clean and explicit releases;
album, single, deluxe, compilation, remastered, live, and radio-edit versions;
music-video audio;
different intros, outros, silence, or offsets.
Two releases with the same title can require different TTML files when their audio or timing differs.
FLAC or WAV is preferred. MP3 files may take longer to import because the tool converts them to FLAC.
Open the TTML Tool.
Select the music icon in the bottom-left corner.
Choose the audio file.
Play the beginning and a later section to confirm that it is the expected recording.
If you use a separated vocal stem while syncing, create it from this exact audio and perform the final review against the original recording. See Separating Vocals for Better Syncing.
